Too often, equipment is unsecured, unsightly cables are visible and valuable floor space is used. Polevault Systems place the key products at the projector so no equipment rack or tabletop space is required, cables, audio amplification and video switching are all hidden away. Installation is simplified through the use of Cat 5 twisted pair cable, wall mounted input plates and easy-to use projector mounting hardware.
Twisted Pair cabling is lighter, smaller and more flexible than the traditional coaxial type cable cable that you are probably more familiar with. This makes it easier to run through walls and conduit, making it ideal for use in retrofitting existing classrooms and in new construction projects. The connectors used with Cat 5 cable are also easier to attach to the cable and therefore do not require specialised skills for the installation. These features make a Polevault System more economical to purchase and install than using standard cable for audio and video.
