We are pleased to introduce the IN1608, an eight input, HDCP-compliant scaling presentation switcher with four HDMI inputs, two universal analog video inputs, and dual HDMI outputs. It also features two Extron DTP 230 twisted pair inputs and a DTP 230 output for extending HDMI, audio, and bidirectional control signals to DTP 230 transmitters and receivers, each over a single CATx cable up to 230 feet (70 meters).

Now shipping Extron's new HDMI Input and Output Cards add HDMI connectivity and HDCP compliance to the Quantum Elite Videowall Processing System. Now available the SM 3, a compact, fast-installing flush mount speaker featuring the Extron SpeedMount System. This 8 ohm speaker features a 3" (7.6 cm) full-range driver and tuned bass port, a wide frequency response of 75 Hz to 18 kHz, and a power rating of 15 watts continuous pink noise, 30 watts continuous program capacity. The enclosure for the SM 3 measures less than 4" (10.2 cm) deep.

Extron Electronics has introduced the XTP System Certification program for AV system designers and integrators. The program consists of online and instructor-led training for design and implementation of enterprise-wide digital systems based on Extron’s XTP CrossPoint Systems.

Extron have announced the addition of three new models to the Retractor series, a cable retraction system for Extron Cable Cubby series cable access enclosures.

Extron Electronics has just announced the HDMI DA2, a one input, two output distribution amplifier for HDMI video and embedded multi-channel digital audio. The HDMI DA2 supports HDMI specification features including data rates up to 6.75 Gbps, Deep Color up to 12-bit, 3D, Lip Sync, and HD lossless audio formats.

We are pleased to announce the immediate availability of the SME 100, a live H.264 encoder for streaming audio, video, and computer-video signals. The SME 100 employs standards-based H.264 / MPEG-4 AVC compression, and outputs an IP stream that can easily be decoded and viewed on desktop or laptop PCs.

We are pleased to announce the Extron MediaLink for iPad App is now available for download from iTunes.

MediaLink for iPad provides users with an additional point of control for rooms with an installed Ethernet-enabled MediaLink Controller. Each button press is tracked between the App and the controller, allowing both to stay in sync.

Extron recently introduced us to the FOX AEX 108, an eight-port fibre optic audio extractor for independent processing and routing of audio signals in a fibre optic AV distribution system.

On the FOX AEX 108 each port acts as a throughput for FOX Series fibre transmitters allowing a two-channel analog audio signal to be extracted and then re-transmission of the original signal to the FOX Series reciever.

Only recently announced the XPA 4002 will be a new addition to Extron's XTRA™ Series range of amplifiers.A compact 1U,two channel amplifier that delivers 400 watts rms per channel, and is available in low impedance and 70 volt versions.

Extron has introduced a Power Supply Trade-In Program for Extron Customers. For every 15 PS Series model 12 volt, 1 amp power supplies returned to us on an authorised RMA, we will ship to the customer a new PS 124 Multiple Output 12 Volt DC Power Supply. The PS 124 features eight 12 volt DC outputs, providing a total of 4 amps across all outputs with no per-port current limitations. This power supply is designed to take the place of several individual PS Series desktop power supplies, which frees up space in the equipment rack.
