It accepts a fiber optic signal with audio, RS-232 control, and HDCP-compliant HDMI, DVI, VGA, or YUV video, scaling the video to the optimal output resolution for the display.

Anaheim, California (June 15, 2011) - Extron Electronics is pleased to introduce the SM 3, a compact, fast-installing flush mount speaker featuring the Extron SpeedMount System. This 8 ohm speaker features a 3" (7.6 cm) full-range driver and tuned bass port, a wide frequency response of 75 Hz to 18 kHz, and a power rating of 15 watts continuous pink noise, 30 watts continuous program capacity. The enclosure for the SM 3 measures less than 4" (10.2 cm) deep.

Anaheim, California (June 15, 2011) - Extron Electronics is pleased to introduce the SME 100, a live H.264 encoder for streaming audio, video, and computer-video signals. The SME 100 employs standards-based H.264 / MPEG-4 AVC encoding, and outputs an IP stream that can easily be decoded and viewed on desktop or laptop PCs. It is designed specifically to address the input requirements common to pro AV applications and supports RGB or DVI input signals up to 1920x1200 as well as standard definition and high definition video up to 1080p/60.

The SMX USB matrix boards are designed to route up to eight Host CPUs to up to four peripheral locations equipped with one or more USB 2.0 devices, such as keyboards and mice, Web cams, personal media players, or portable hard drives. They support data transfer rates up to 480 Mbps and are compatible with USB 2.0/1.1/1.0 specifications.
