The School of Digital Technologies provides training on the following topics:

Digital Video Signal Transmission

In the Digital Video Signal Transmission course, you will learn to design practical, working systems that incorporate the full range of digital technologies available. You will enhance your ability to explain and identify the proper sequences of design in order to build a fully optimized A/V system. In addition, you will learn to properly define EDID and how it can affect system performance, as well as differentiate between SMPTE standards of SDI and HD-SDI. The Digital Video Signal Transmission course will provide you with the necessary tools to design digital A/V systems successfully.

Designing Digital Systems That Work

Provides valuable instruction and hands-on skills development for designing end-to-end AV systems, from simple to complex. Learn how to:

  • Design digital AV systems from setup through configuration for a wide range of real-world scenarios
  • Expand system designs to anticipate future needs and technologies
  • Troubleshoot existing system designs to increase your understanding of digital design challenges and know how to resolve them quickly in the field
